Dance of Duality: Relationships in (or out of) Balance

Dance of Duality

One of Marty’s older drawings; still popular (and applicable) today.  Original Colored Pencil Drawing on Canson Paper.

A long-term relationship can be a wonderful thing.  It can also seem like a constant battle between egos, a dual of personalities, or compromise after compromise.  It is often all of the above.  Our dual with ourselves is just as constant — the worries and irritations vying to overcome satisfaction, compassion, and progress (of any kind).  Duality is an interesting phenomenon — something like Schrodinger’s’ Cat.  Is it here?  Is it gone?  Does it really exist?  It is a dance as well [...

Raku Mask of Golds, Greens, Coppers, and Blues

Coffee 4-2

“Coffee 4-2″ or “Coffee for Two” or any other way you’d like to name it.  It is coffee and conversation between two friends, discussing the world, literature, technology, politics, or possibilities for the future.  This pseudo-surreal conceptual image is intriguing yet restful, stimulating yet dramatically balanced; the perfect companion to a breakfast nook, a study, a library, or your favorite room for conversation.

This image is of an original Colored Pencil drawing on colored Cansen paper.

You can purchase a giclee of this print here in our Shoppe or from our gallery on Yessy.com
