Eyes of March

"Beware the Ides of March." The warning to Caesar at the end of the Roman Republic inspired this image. Eyes, blind to reality, watch carefully for the illuminating light that will reveal their covert activities.
This image was created with pen & ink over a watercolor painting. It's composition developed out of another of Marty's clay masks sculptures, Three Faces.
